About Sveti Petar lighthouse
Built in 1884. on same name peninsula / forest park, lighthouse Sveti Petar (Saint Peter) is located in proximity of one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Croatian Adriatic-town Makarska.
Situated about 10 meters from the sea, with several flat rock beaches suitable for suntanning in the vicinity, the lighthouse building offers accommodation for 4 people.
Approximately 100 meters north from the lighthouse lies a beautiful pebble beach. Awarded with a Blue Flag it is suitable for children and offers the opportunity for numerous recreational activities.

IMPORTANT
Given its location beside the promenade in the forest park, the area around and the beach in front of the lighthouse are frequently visited by tourists as well as locals so Sveti Peter is not recommended for those seeking seclusion and privacy, especially in the high season.
Transfer / How to get to the lighthouse
Baggage transfer from the bus station in Makarska to the lighthouse can be arranged. If arriving by car, in order to get to the lighthouse one must take the road leading to Makarska's waterfront and than turn right and drive west until reaching the Sveti Petar forest park gate.
Parking
You can choose to park your car outside the forest park or arrange to meet with the service providers representative by the gate and park near the lighthouse. In case you choose to park near the lighthouse, in the following days, until your departure, your car can be moved only from 05:00 till 09:00 h, as only then the gate will be open.
